Herbs for Arthritis

Chuchuhuasi Herbs

Contains two natural herbs for arthritis from the Amazon rain forest in Peru.

Are natural PKC (protein kinase C) inhibitors. PKC inhibitors have recently attracted interest since high levels of PKC enzyme is involved in arthritis. Iporuru is a natural COX inhibitor and has anti-inflammatory effects.

Since only ethically harvested wildcrafted Chuchuhuasi and Iporuru are used in our products, we can ensure you the freshest herbs for arthritis without fillers. Other companies may buy from a middle man that is selling stale or adulterated Iporuru and Chuchuhuasi herbs without the vital energy found in fresh naturally grown Amazon plants.

Ingredients and suggested use for Chuchuhuasi and Iporuru tincture:

Chuchuhuasi

Maytenus krukovii and Iporuru Alchornea castaneifolia) bark extracted in distilled water and 40% alcohol with natural flavor. Usuage - 60 drops (2ml) twice a day or as required, under the tongue or to be added into water or juice.

Chuchuhuasi is a large tree of the Amazon rainforest. Indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest have used the bark of Chuchuhuasi medicinally for centuries. The name Chuchuhuasi means “trembling back” which refers to its traditional use for arthritis, rheumatism and back pain.  In 1993, Japanese researchers discovered a group of alkaloids in Chuchuhuasi herbs that may be responsible for treating arthritis and rheumatism. A pharmaceutical company studying Chuchuhuasi’s anti-arthritic properties determined that the alkaloids in Chuchuhuasi herbs discovered by the Japanese research group can inhibit enzyme production of protein kinase C (PKC). PKC inhibitors are important because too much PKC enzyme is a contributing factor in arthritis.

Iporuru is a shrubby tree that grows in the Amazon rainforest of Peru and Brazil. Indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest have used the bark of iporuru for centuries to relieve symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatism. Pharmacognosy students in Sweden studying Iporuru reported that an ethanol extract of the bark of iporuru acted as a natural COX inhibitor and had anti-inflammatory effects
