Boldo
is a herbal treatment for gall bladder stones and a general digestive tonic. Boldo is an evergreen shrub that can be indentified by its broad leaves that
have a leathery texture and yellowish green berries. Though it is
widely distributed throughout South America, it is most widely found in
Peru and is one of the most famous Peruvian medicinal plants.
Boldo contains the
chemical Asaridole, which helps in killing intestinal parasites and worms
